Home Instead Senior Care, an absolutely wonderful company whose Southwest Pittsburgh and Washington County branch took terrific care of my father during his last days, has put out a very good video about funding options for completing aging-in-place home modifications. It covers everything I mentioned in my prior post, plus a number of additional options to look into.
Just a query regarding hefore taking in to accouome care. Any info on outside accomadation care versus gearing ones own home to cater for needs and employing home care from personal experience and financial angles would be appreciated. It is an area I am finding it difficult to form an opinion on even before takin in to account the wide variance in circumstances which may apply.
